FAQs / Help

When do you open?

The Farm and Farm Shop is open from 9:30am - 5pm. Monday to Sunday

The cafe is opening times-  8:30am-4pm . Also Monday to Sunday.

Do I need to book?

We recommend booking online to avoid disappointment (Important to book when the soft play is live, to secure your slot in the Play Barn). But you can turn up at the Farm and of course you will be welcome to pay on the day.

Why do members have to pay a £2.00 fee?

Our new booking system charges £2 per booking. Despite our efforts, we couldn't find a way to remove this charge for members. However, we have come up with a couple of options for you. When you arrive, we can refund your £2 on entry, or alternatively, we can provide you with a £2.50 voucher. This voucher can be swapped to enjoy a tea or coffee or put towards a purchase at our cafe or shop. We have also set aside several slots per session exclusively for members who arrive without a booking. Please note that members who book but fail to turn up will not be eligible for a refund. If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch with us.

Are Dogs welcome?

Dogs are welcome in the Cafe and Farm Shop but not on the actual Farm and Play area.

Are the Tractor Rides always on?

Bucklebury Farm is the home of the Deer Safari Park, with an extensive deer herd of four different breeds including Red deer, Sika, Fallow and Axis.

The tractor rides during the spring and summer months offer visitors special up-close access to our deer. Help feed these wonderful animals which are fascinating to see all year round from seeing the new born calves in spring or the big red in full antlers during the rutting season.

** Please note during the winter and autumn months, or when it is too wet, this is a walking tour to a viewing platform as the fields are unsuitable for the tractors**

Can customers bring their own food?

Yes, we welcome picnics but please do use the picnic areas.

We also have a café ..
